- Preparatory research (hardware and software) for the design of an image bank of 6.700 ancient geographical maps kept in Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana (Venice).
- HISTORIA project (EU FP3- IV proj. n. 3117). The project aimed to develop technical solutions for the implementation of a tool for historical research. The objective was to design and realise a prototype image-data bank of manuscripts related to Venetian heraldry, and provide the tools for intelligent searching and retrieval of the images. The system is currently in use at the National Marciana Library in Venice. - National Marciana Library in Venice – Pilot project for digital reproduction of the “Mappamondo di Fra Mauro” the most important geographical map kept in the Library, with more than 4000 inscription. The system allows the users to access the map (with high resolution zoom at a ratio of 3:1) from the internal network. The system is currently in use at the National Marciana Library in Venice. - Treviso Province Authority – digital reproduction and image base of the local photographic collection kept in the Treviso Cultural Centre which contains over 1000 photographs from the period of World War I to date. -Regional Authority of Veneto – The complete design, creation and management of the “Museum” section of the Regional web site, comprising 234 museums. - Project management of the “Museum of World War I Regional Network” that involves the development of a digital web-based content management system in order to optimize and share collections between museums of the area.
Team Progetti is an SME specialising in digital multimedia communications.
The current activities of Team Progetti include project and communication
management, multimedia production and processing digital images for publishing
applications. In addition, it offers commonly used modelling, administrative
and management software which has been tested in "on-field" applications.
The management and technical capabilities of the staff have been successfully
tested in substantial national and international projects. The following
are some of the most relevant projects undertaken:

The main responsibilities allocated to Team Progetti are:
- data and image collection from partners, decision making processes
within the partners, coordination and organization of work, staff-meetings,
information flow within partners regular reporting to partners and to
the European Commission
- digital image acquisition and processing which will include R&D
in testing, adopting and defining digital capturing techniques (hardware
and software) especially applied to manuscripts. These activities will
be carried out based on feedback from the University of Westminster
and the Centre for History and Palaeography of the National Bank Cultural
Foundation in Athens (Greece)
- web site design, construction and management. The activities will start at the beginning of the Project. The web site will be designed dynamically with Content Management System software. This will allow remote maintenance and updating, by certified writers and editors (i.e. the project partners). The site will host the online database when the project is complete.
